A while ago it became known that Willem Witteveen, his wife and his daughter were amongst the victims of the Ukraine plane crash. Willem Witteveen was senator of the PvdA and professor at the Tilburg Law School. In memory of him, Tilburg University organizes a commemoration in the afternoon of Thursday September 18. It will begin at 14:00 in the auditorium of Tilburg University. The gathering will be in Dutch. You can find the program here.

There will also be an opportunity to sign the condolence book at the gathering in the auditorium on Thursday September 18, or you can add your message to the condolence book online until the end of September.
Due to this, the planned conference Eerste Juridisch Jaarcongres Onderzoek Rechtenfaculteiten will be postponed till early 2015.
