Sohail Wahedi (EUR) received the VWR Dissertation Prize 2021 for his dissertation:
The Constitutional Dynamics of Religious Manifestations: On Abstraction from the Religious Dimension.
The jury, consisting of Ton Hol (chair), Jogchum Vrielink and Pauline Westerman, praised Wahedi’s dissertation for, among other things, the way it succeeds in balancing theory and concrete issues in his discussion of religion.
The VWR board congratulates Wahedi with being the 2021 Dissertation Prize winner. Previous winners can be found on this page. An interview with Wahedi on his dissertation can be read at (in Dutch): Erasmus Magazine.
