Spring Meeting 2018
The key note lecture will be delivered by the American legal philosopher prof. dr. David Luban (Georgetown University). His lecture is entitled ‘The Enemy of all Humanity’, a theme which he will approach from a historical, philosophical and criminal law perspective. Recently, the notion has been in the news when Western leaders blamed Assad for the use of chemical weapons, basically depicting him as an enemy of humanity. Antony Duff (Minnesota Law School/University of Stirling), Sofia Stolk (Asser Institute), Marc de Wilde (Universiteit van Amsterdam) and Louis Sicking (Universiteit Leiden/Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) will give a reply to the lecture of Professor Luban.
Prior to the Spring meeting, the Annual Members Meeting is held.
