The Winter meeting of The Netherlands Association for the Philosophy of Law will take place on Friday 3 February 2017, and is hosted by the section Legal Theory of the Faculty of Law, Utrecht University.
Call for workshops
The set-up of the Winter meeting is up to the members themselves. You are invited to submit a workshop proposal related to any philosophy of law theme, either in respect of research or education. Workshops can consist, for example, of a number of presentations or a round table discussion. Please submit the proposal no later than 1 December by sending an email to both Bald de Vries (u.devries@uu.nl) and Elaine Mak (e.mak@uu.nl).
Call for PhD presentations
Like each Winter meeting of the The Netherlands Association for the Philosophy of Law, we invite PhD candidates to present their current PhD research. After each presentation a referent will comment on the research and stimulate debate and discussion. PhD candidates who are involved in research in the field of legal philosophy (in the broadest sense) are invited to register and submit an abstract (max. 400 words) as well as possible suggestions for referees. Please submit an abstract and suggestions for referees no later than 1 December by sending an email to both Bald de Vries (u.devries@uu.nl) and Elaine Mak (e.mak@uu.nl).
There is only limited space so it may be that we have to make a selection of the abstracts. We will do so soon after the closing of the deadline.
